Kona Kai Resort is located about an hour’s drive from Miami on the west side of Key Largo Road. Guests have fantastic views of Florida Bay and the famous sunset view. Most guests return here on vacation just for this exceptional view and to enjoy it.

Plenty of attractive facilities are nearby, just a ten minute drive including John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Everyone who loves scuba diving and kayaking knows this for sure.

Kona Kai is decorated as an intimate labyrinth composed of palm trees, beautiful cottages and tropical plants. The trail takes you through the center of the resort all the way to Florida Bay. There are picnic tables sheltered in the shade, hammocks and a small indoor pool in the rocks.
The main attraction in everything is the endless Florida Bay with a big blue sky. The entire property is cleverly decorated, always directing the view towards the water.

There are 13 cottages available and the intimate and friendly staff welcomes you on arrival. Since there are no restaurants here, the staff will be happy to recommend some of the nearby ones and tell you a lot of information.

Guests can enjoy a sandy beach, a small pool, hot tubs or free paddling boards here. If you have nothing to do at night, you can use the floodlit tennis court.

Each of the 13 cottages is done in a unique style, from two-bedroom apartments to studios. The apartments are equipped with a complete kitchen and a separate living room. The decorations inside are comfortable and the studios are equipped with coffee machines and refrigerators. The bathrooms are spacious and nicely decorated, with tiled showers.

Although there is no restaurant on site, you will be served a free breakfast of toast, pastries and freshly picked fruit. For more painful meals, head to one of the nearby restaurants, there is a guide with suggestions.

Wheelchairs are accessible to public areas and swimming pools, and there are also adapted rooms. Family holidays with children in this facility are not possible because access is allowed only to persons over 16 years of age.
